I had a wonderful stay at City Guest House in York. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast options were delicious and offered a great variety, which I truly appreciated. However, I did notice that the hotel had some quirks due to its age. but these were manageable and didn't detract from my overall experience.

My stay at City Guest House for three nights was really enjoyable. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center, which made exploring York a breeze. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and I appreciated the spotless condition of my room. My stay at City Guest House was absolutely good. The hosts, Julie and Allan, made me feel incredibly welcome, and the attention to detail in service was amazing. The location couldn't be better, just a quick five-minute walk to the heart of York, where I could explore the Minster and other attractions. However, I did have to be cautious about the low ceiling in the attic room due to my height. Overall, it was a cozy and enjoyable experience that I would happily repeat.
